Ocean Technical Safety Services Ltd can draw on over 25 years experience of providing structural steel wire rigging assemblies. Our roots run deep in the maritime and construction industries and now we are expanding our product range to support architectural and horticultural designs together with a range of DIY products for self installation.
Our competitively priced swaged wire assemblies are constructed of the highest quality marine grade stainless using roll swage pressing to produce a high quality and aesthetic finish.

Structural Rigging Solutions
Our structural rigging products and installation service provide a wide range of solutions for supporting and stabilising structures using tensioned wires.
Guy wires/stays: these wires are designed to stabilise freestanding structures for examples radio masts, utility wind turbines and utility poles. Guys must be secured to suitable anchors that are designed to withstand the overturning forces that the supported structure is likely to encounter, for this reason we strongly recommend that guys and anchors are designed by a structural engineer.
Catenary: describes a curve formed by a wire under its own weight, however the phrase is more often associated with a wire that is used to support another element for example electrical cables or lighting festoons. As with guys, the strength of the catenary is reliant upon the anchors to which it is attached and therefore we strongly recommend that catenaries and their anchors are designed by a structural engineer.
Ocean Technical Safety Services work in close association with selected partners and can provide a turnkey structural design, build and installation service for your project. Our structural engineering partners are members of the Institute of Civil Engineers and our installation teams are IPAF and IRATA qualified operatives.
All swages are load tested to the engineers specification and a certificate of test issued prior to installation of our structural wire assemblies.
Museum and Display Solutions
Ocean Technical Safety Services Ltd provides anchorage and rigging solutions specifically for suspended exhibits. We work closely with our clients to design strong and robust suspension wires that are also elegant and aesthetically sympathetic so that they don't detract from the visual impact of the exhibit.
Suspension wires are reliant on the strength of their anchors and so we strongly recommend that the wires and anchors are designed by a structural engineer.
